For the first time, the Nambucca Heads town brigade has joined in ‘Movember’, a month-long campaign to raise funds and awareness of male cancers and depression by growing a manly ‘mo’.

Each member is individually fund-raising through their businesses, and the team has urged others to come on board and sponsor them this month.

While some are sporting hairier lips than others, the team said it was important to give it a go for the cause, which supported men right around Australia, and had special significance for the Nambucca Valley, where depression was common.
