The question on the lips of Margaret Davies at the White Albatross Kiosk is... do we serve the best fish ‘n’ chips in the land?
Ms Davies entered the kiosk in the national competition after finding out about it on the internet.
“I got the brochures and entered, the competition managers sent out entry forms for our customers to fill out,” Ms Davies said.
Ms Davies is calling for support from the Nambucca Heads community to help take the title of Australia’s best fish ‘n’ chip shop for 2010.
“I get so many customers saying how good the fish and the chips are.”
White Albatross Kiosk is going up against hundreds of other fish ‘n’ chip vendors around the country as part of the annual Crisco Australia’s Best Fish ’n’ Chip Shop Competition.
Ms Davies said White Albatross Kiosk had what was needed to win.
“We’ve got the best fish and chips in the country, no doubt about that,” she said.
“Now we just need the locals to get behind us and cast their vote.
“We have many loyal customers who give us great feedback about our product all the time.
“We’re asking them to go the extra mile, grab a voting card in-store and lodge their vote online.
“We need your help to do Nambucca Heads proud.”
